It just occurred to me that most of you fellow Certified-Fire followers haven’t seen this yet, and for that I apologize.
It also occurred to me, that as I watch this, that music television is absolutely, completely 100% unarguably DEAD. No more tha basement, rap city, not even TRL.
I’m so SICK of “Housewives of Atlanta”, “Real Chance at Love”, “How Many Hoes can Brett Michaels Give Herpes Too?”, “I hate Flava Flav”, and all those goddamn MTV The Hills and their sequels.
This is what ALL music television should be. Raw, hardcore music, Freestyle Friday, Big Tigger, Yo MTV Raps, even The White Rapper Show was ill as fuck. I present the eulogy of music television

Weezy Headed to Jail
Lil’ Wayne will soon go from spitting bars to sitting behind them. As part of a plea deal reached this morning Dwayne Carter, pleaded guilty to one count of criminal possession of a weapon. The charges stem from a July 2007 incident in which Lil’ Waynes tour bus was searched after NYPD officers smelled marijuana. After being approached by the police, Weezy tried to hide the pistol in a Louis Vuitton bag, and was arrested on the scene. The trial will be adjourned until February’s sentencing where Lil’ Wayne will most likely be sentenced to a year in jail. Lil’ Wayne is also scheduled for trial in Arizona for felony drug and weapons possession following a January 2008 arrest at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint.

Only in Japan would Burger King offer a Whopper that includes SEVEN stacks of beef. The “Windows 7 Whopper” is probably the strangest cross-promotional advertisement I’ve ever come across. What’s the price you ask? For 777 yen (or $8.50), those living in Japan can grab a Whopper 7, then head to the ER for a nice lil’ heart attack (free on behalf of BK and Windows). My question is this: would anyone state-side try this beast?

I am in no means a sneaker head. I don’t have a shoe room, I don’t match my outfit to my shoes, I don’t go to release parties with Jamie Lynn wearing suits and white kicks; I’m rather the antithesis, picking three pairs of dope kicks and wearing the hell out of them until there’s no tread and the tongue breaks. However, on occasion I see some amazing kicks that I absolutely have to buy.

What up people??? Sorry it took so long for me to give you guys another update, but I’ve been on my grind lately. We got lots of things to look forward to in the career of DJ Paimon and this website. More on that later on. For now i’ll give you some updates to keep you all filled in on whats going on in the world of hip hop and music…
Birdman actually fixed his face up to say this following quote… i’m warning you… you might slap your forehead while reading this, and your jaw might drop, more than when you saw him kissing Weezy on the mouth…

moving on Rihanna’s releasing her new album entitled “Rated R” slated for November 23rd 2009, and will feature Justin Timberlake and The Dream. Look out for her first single off the album “Russion Roulette” featuring Ne-Yo (Listen HERE in our NEW ISH section). I heard there’s gonna be a collab with chris breezy’s bow tie and easter bunny blue sweater….(link to chris brown video)
Pastor/Murder Mase finally got released from Diddy’s cobra clutches as Mason Betha made a surprise visit to Diddy at a radio station while Diddy was doing a live interview with his group Dirty Money (link to music from dirty money). Mase brought his release papers with him and had Diddy sign them on the spot.
Cormega doesn’t like Drake because he has money. He said the following… “I can’t fuck with Drake I like Drake I like Drake as a young man trying to make money but I can’t take him serious. Number one, he’s rich. He’s rich man. I don’t like when these spoiled rich kids they just get into rap because it’s something they can do but they pops got money and they put ‘em in the game and then they start rapping about something, a life they could never live.”
I dunno, I never heard Drizzy rap about the streets, and d-boys, and hood tales, i usually hear him rap about love, hate, females, money.. u know things that he IS living… I dunno, Mega, i respect your music but you, my friend, are sounding like a HATErrrrrr…
Sad News: Saigon’s mom passed away recently. The details of her death have not been reported but this is tragic news and we wish Saigon our condolences and pray for his family. Apparently she was under 40 years old. Hold your head Saigon…
and in some frustrating news… Looks like Shyne is getting the shaft (pause), and is getting deported to Belize. Homey can’t catch a break.
